Tahitian Pearls
What makes Tahitian pearls unique?
Often called "black pearls", Tahitian pearls are among the most sought-after pearls in the world. They are cultivated in the warm lagoons of French Polynesia by the black-lipped oyster, Pinctada margaritifera, which gives them their famous dark body colour.
Their natural shades range from charcoal and silver-grey to rich peacock green, often with shimmering overtones that shift in the light. Bold, sophisticated and full of character, a Tahitian pearl makes a statement like no other.
